The Big 30

Well I turned 30 today. As much as I was freaking out about it earlier this month, I am ok with it now. I feel no different today then I did yesterday so it is obviously just a number!! I have however doubled my efforts running now and am hopping it will help me stay young in the long run. Although I was a little slower this morning, I hit mile 3 and felt like I was finished, I am hoping it was just my being tired and taking the last 2 days off and not my age, hah!! It is funny, I remember my mom turning 30 like it was yesterday and now, all the sudden I am there. Oh well here is to 30!!! May it be a great year.

Happy 30th birthday! Turning 30 was strange. I'm almost 33, and still stuck at about 27. Hope you had a great day!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday! A few more months and I will join you at 30. It's kind of a scary number.

Kudos on the running! I can't run to save my life. :)

I hope you had a good day, despite turning the big 3-0!!

The only thing I wanted when I turned 30, was a kid. I got my wish 7 weeks before the big day. That was a good year. It's all uphill from here.

love ya

I completely know the date of your birthday and yet forgot it ... how bad of me. I'm glad you had a great day! Turning 30 is like still being a child in my eyes! What do you mean running and hit mile 3 ... can you run 3 miles at a time? If so ... that would be absolutely incredible. I only did that once in my life and literally thought I was going to die.

Cindy, your only 8 years older so I think you are still young, if not we are all in trouble! I have been running 3 miles a day 5 times a week for a few months now but I am trying to do 6 and yesterday only did about 4 1/2 but I figure if I can just work up to it a little at a time I will be there in a few weeks.

at least it's warm where you are so you can run, here in Minnesota, you literally freeze even before you take that first step. I'll be glad when it warms up here. I'm up to about a mile running on the treadmill. Let's just hope it lasts.

Happy birthday Briana. I'll be joining you as one of the 30-somethings in a month... I hear it isn't so bad.

I have no excuses for not wishing you a happy happy, except that I'm trying to figure out how you passed me...ha ha...I stopped having birthdays when I was 25! I really hope you have a great year being 30. At least you can poke fun at your hubby being older...that's what I do anyway! :)

Happy birthday, a little late! It's fun to see your family grow through the blog. Ours is samylockhart.blogspot.com if you want to have a visit. The boys thought it was "really cool" that Riley is in archery. Zack still remembers playing at the park with Riley and being at your house while you were teaching trumpet lessons.
