Change...

So in my never ending battle to figure out what to do with my hair I decided to go into the salon and ask them for their advice. They lady (or at least that was what he called himself) suggested I go back to my "natural color" and I said great! I have been tired of the up keep with highlights and have slowly been going back to my "roots" anyway. Well was I in for a surprise when she took off the towel. I know I have somewhat dark hair but not this dark. To make it worse I spent all my extra $$ to get my hair done and Jeremy has vetoed me going back to get it fixed. Oh well I guess I am stuck for a while, maybe it will grow on me.

Looks good, and remember, this too shall pass. I have always colored my own, sometimes i love it, sometimes i hate it. you can buy stuff that will take much of the color out. I had to do that because mine came out to dark when i colored it right before Bethanys wedding.

The first thing I thought when I saw it was, My goodness ... she looks Hawaiian! ( I don't even know if that is the proper spelling). It makes you look quite sophisticated. It looks black in the picture though, is it really that dark?

Thanks for the words of encouragement! No it's not black but it is really really dark. I am going to go back to the salon tomorrow and see if they will lighten it up. I am going to keep my fingers crossed :)

I did the same thing to my hair right before I came home on my mission. People in PA had no idea how to fix it, so I came home with Black hair. I even cut most of it off because I thought it would help me get use to it. What ever you do don't cut your beautiful hair...it will not help you like it more. To fix my hair I had a double bleach weave done....it was expensive but it looked way better. Good luck, I don't think you could look ugly with whatever you do with your hair.

I had to do a double take...Is that really Briana? Anyway, I think it looks good, course I'm really not that picky as long as it covers up my gray!! Do what you feels right, though.

Wow! I don't think I would recognize you with that color hair -- but I kind of like it.

I love it! I had to double take, too! You look like a magazine model, seriously, I really like it!
