Well we can now say that we have been through our first tsunami and I am so thankful that we dodged this bullet. My phone started going crazy about 4:30 this morning with friends and members of the church calling us to let us know that we needed to evacuate and head to higher ground. We were prepared and got everything ready quickly and headed up to our church as it is high up on a hill. We waited and waited, refereed lots of kids, had a few boo boo's and around 1:30 they canceled the warning and we went home. Not much else to tell, just thankful to be home and have a home intact to come home to.

I wondered if they would evacuate you. Im so glad everything was ok for everyone. take care and come see us sometime.
I'm glad you guys are safe. We were worried about you. :)
Glad you are safe! I guess that's one of the drawbacks of living near the ocean. When are you moving?
We're glad that it all worked out, it was a little scary. Eleanor, we will be moving to VA in June. It will be nice to be closer to family but we are going to miss HA so much, it feels like home. We are going to be stopping in UT on our trip out, it would be fun to try and get everyone together. I'll let you know firm dates as soon as we have them set.
So glad you're safe! I thought about you that day.
